Villa La Gaviota

1. Booking

A booking is confirmed only when the required deposit or full payment has been received and written confirmation has been issued by Villa La Gaviota.
 

The person making the booking must be at least 18 years of age and accepts these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all guests included in the reservation.
 

2. Payment

Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of booking.
 

Unless otherwise agreed:

• A deposit is payable at the time of booking.

• The remaining balance must be paid prior to arrival.

• Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the reservation.
   

3. Security deposit

A refundable security deposit may be required before arrival. The deposit may be used to cover damage, excessive cleaning, missing items or breaches of these Terms and Conditions.

 

Any balance will be refunded following inspection of the property.

4. Cancellation policy

All bookings are non-refundable

​

We strongly recommend that guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance.

​

5. Check-in and check-out

Unless otherwise agreed:

• Check-in: From 4:00 pm

• Check-out: By 10:00 am

Early check-in or late check-out may be available by prior agreement.

6. Maximum occupancy

Only the number of guests stated on the booking confirmation may occupy the property.

Additional overnight guests are not permitted without prior written approval.

7. Guest responsibilities

Guests agree to:

• Treat the property with reasonable care.

• Keep the property secure during their stay.

• Respect neighbouring properties by keeping noise to a reasonable level.

• Comply with all local laws and community regulations.

Any damage must be reported immediately.

8. Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside the villa.

​

9. Pets

Pets are only permitted with prior written agreement. Additional cleaning charges may apply.

10. Parties and events

Parties, weddings, commercial events and large gatherings are not permitted.

​

11. Amplified music

Amplified music is not permitted. ​
​

12. Swimming Pool

Guests use the swimming pool entirely at their own risk.
 

Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
 

Villa La Gaviota accepts no responsibility for accidents arising from misuse of the pool or surrounding areas.

13. Drones & fireworks

Drones and fireworks are not permitted on the premises.

​

14. Liability

Villa La Gaviota shall not be liable for:
 

• Loss or theft of personal belongings.

• Injury or accident, unless caused by our negligence.

• Failure of utilities, internet services or equipment beyond our reasonable control.

• Events outside our reasonable control, including adverse weather, natural disasters, government restrictions or other force majeure events.
   

15. Maintenance

We reserve the right to enter the property at reasonable times to carry out emergency repairs, maintenance or inspections where necessary.
 

16. Complaints

Any issue should be reported as soon as possible during the stay so that reasonable steps can be taken to resolve it.
 

Complaints submitted after departure may not be capable of investigation.

17. Privacy

Personal information is processed solely for the purposes of managing bookings and providing accommodation, in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

18. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which Villa La Gaviota is located, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts.
 

By making a booking, the lead guest confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all members of their party.
